The Davis Ranch Retreat wants to serve you, whether you’re looking for a B&B environment, or you want to have a private family getaway.
The Davis Ranch Retreat’s owner lives onsite because it is a working ranch, and things ‘need to get done’. DRR’s owner enjoys hosting guests, providing breakfast, and sharing the property amenities. Visitors have complete use of the kitchen (for preparing your own meals), the Great Room, pool, porches, the ponds… oh, and 40 acres! And there is no minimum stay.
Best Friend’s Room: $160

Ranch House (3BR/2BA): $410
Exclusive use of all rooms in the Ranch House, the Casita and the Treehouse: $835
- Rates are per night, for two people
- Maximum occupancy per room (except Treehouse) is 3; additional person in a room is $75/night
- Maximum occupancy in the Treehouse is 2 people
- There is a one-time cleaning fee of $35/room, and a 6% hotel occupancy tax
- Rates include a full breakfast each morning of your visit
- Rates are per night, plus a 6% hotel occupancy tax
For those who enjoy a more rustic “camping” atmosphere, with access to the barn bathroom, two outdoor showers, and outdoor grill / fire ring for cooking.
Barn room (full bed, two twins) $ 90
Bunkhouse (up to four cots) $ 80
Camping on grounds $ 50
- Rates are per night, plus a 6% hotel occupancy tax
- Rates can, with advanced request, include breakfast for an additional $10/person

We can help you design your own event at Davis Ranch Retreat. While we can accommodate some small groups for overnight stays, our retreat is often used for single day gatherings…..here are some examples of how our retreat has been used in the past:

Photographer - (for engagement photos, best friends’ gatherings, graduation photos, family Christmas cards).
Massages - by licensed massage therapists are available by request... in the Treehouse!!! For typical massages, the cost ranges from $90/hour to $75/hour, depending on the number of guests requesting services... the more massages, the less expensive they are per person.
Cooking Classes - full 4 course meal, cooked while you watch, by a chef and sous chef. I did this for my own family….FUN!!! (And delicious). Availability and cost based on the chef’s schedule and the meal you choose. Add $25 for us to handle the arrangements. Call for availability of chef.
Grocery shopping – we are 30 minutes from major grocery stores. Give us your detailed list, and we’ll stock up for your stay. $35 plus cost of groceries.
Security Deposit: Minimum $150 for standard agreements / $500 for special event agreements, due at least four weeks prior to desired occupancy, or 10 days from initiation of reservation, whichever comes first. This security deposit is applied against the total cost of your stay if the property is not damaged in any way.
Cleaning Deposit: $35 - non-refundable.
Occupancy of premises: A calculated portion of the total stay is due upon reservation (as shown in the confirmation of reservation agreement); the balance of total stay is due at least 3 weeks prior to desired occupancy.
Check in / Check out: 3 pm check in / 12 noon check out (we are happy to accommodate early or late arrivals and departures)
Child Safety: We have a pool... no lifeguard on duty. An adult is required to be present at all times with children who are not experienced swimmers. This is a working ranch, and we have large animals (horses and cows), that are 'people-friendly', and smaller creatures that might not be 'people-friendly'. It's best for an adult to accompany young children on excursions until you are comfortable that they are safe on the ranch.
Pets: No one loves pets more than we do. From the Longhorns, to our chickens and goats, to the horse, and our own special granddogs, Lola and Izzy. For some time now, we have offered our 'air-conditioned hotel' for dogs in a fenced area. We cannot have pets (except our own granddogs), in the Main House or Casita unless they’re kenneled in your room at night, so we want have to let you know in advance that your sweet babies will have to stay in the doggie hotel at night (unless they’re kenneled in your room). And we realize that this is sometimes difficult for both your pets, AND their parents. We're sorry, but some of our favorite long-time guests have allergies that make it impossible for them to be comfortable in the house if we have had numerous pets visiting. So you will need to decide whether or not your little ones can sleep away from you at night.
And if that is okay with you and your pet, you're welcome to have them with you on the porches, around the pool (no swimming for pets, though), riding with you on the golf carts, or just walking around the ranch. I have Lola leashed when she rides with me....and Izzy (all four pounds of her) would take off herding the Longhorns if I didn't hold her when we ride in the golf cart. So just make sure they won't run away!
Payment Options: We will process your credit card or accept your check upon arrival. We accept Visa / MasterCard / Discover / American Express.
Cancellations: Full refund upon cancellation four weeks prior to reservation. Partial refund of deposit for less than four weeks cancellation (will be notated on Confirmation / Reservation document). Refund will be in the form of a check from DRR; if credited back to a credit card, a 10% refund fee will apply. Gift certificates for a different reservation date if cancelled during the two weeks prior to reservation.
